So it was finally time for me to experience it and give my support to make it even better Until I eventually fully bought it in September 2022 when I saw that they're actually fully committed to supporting it.In April 2022 I bought it to check its state, but refunded it soon after because I wasn't sure whether they still decided to just patch it or commit to it.I did not buy the game at launch, but I did try it out at the time for a few hours and decided to wait a year or two in order to experience it properly.I hope CDPR knocks it out of the park though - in my opinion, they're the best AAA RPG studio in the industry when they get things right.Ĭlick to expand.Interesting to see that directed at me considering that Getting back to the expansion, the base game didn't personally leave me with a great desire for more of the same, so I will wait and see what the expansion is all about before I decide if and when I will buy it or not. Iterative development based on user feedback can most definitely produce a better product at the end of the process, and it's certainly more honest than releasing an unfinished game anyway without putting an Early Access label on it. On Early Access, as always it really depends on the studio, but if done right it can actually benefit a game. However, I see now that buying at launch and pre-ordering got conflated in the conversation, but the two are obviously not the same. I think that's a reasonable approach, it seems there was a misunderstanding then on my part - I thought you meant to say that you'd be pre-ordering no matter what.
